Meteora – Bitola – Ohrid
Early departure to Meteora. High on the top of this monolithic rocks, almost 25 Ortodox monasteries are raised form 11-15 century. After visiting one of the monasteries, in the workshop for old icons we’ll learn how they were made in the past and today. Lunch break and continue to Bitola, Republic of Macedonia. Visit of the archaeological site of Heraclea Lyncestis, founded by King Philip II. In Roman&Early-Christian times becomes a regional Capitol, with a great Theater and Bishop’s residence, richly decorated with colorful floor mosaics. The short walk in the town center brings us back romantic memories of the time when the “City of Consuls” was the major culture and political center in the Balkans. Check in the hotel. Ohrid – St.Naum – Dures
Early departure to Ohrid. First known as the mithological „City of Light”, or Lychnidos, it became one of the biggest medeval religious and culture centers. Byzantian art and literature were spread from here to all Mideval Slavic kingdoms in Europe. Sightseeing the old town built in traditional 19-century architecture. Panoramic drive arround the lake to St.Naum’s Monastery. After visiting the church, lunch break by the springs of Crni Drim river. In the afternoon entering Albania and continuing towards Elbasan and Dures. Check in the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Durres – Berat
Sightseeing of Dures, one of the most important ports in the Adriatic from Archaic times to now days. After visiting the legendary City Walls and the Old Bazaar, continue to Berat, with on the way sightseeing of the archaeological site of Apollonia. Visit of Berat, the most significant traditional 18-19 century town in Albania. Free time for individual exploring and lunch. Your guide will help to choose from the tasty local meny. Back to Dures in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
Tirana – Kruje – Budva
Departure to Tirana. City tour in the Albanian Capitol, visiting also the National Museum. Continue with the visit of Kruje, the reign seat of the Albanian National hero-SKENDERBEY. Due to his great heroism and skills, he managed to keep the Ottomans outside his kingdom until his death in late 15 cent. After visiting the Fortress, free time for lunch in the Old Bazaar. Departure towards Montenegro. Arriving in Budva in the evening. Check in the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Departure to the former Royal seat of Montenegro, Cetinje. Visit of the Royal Palace and continue through Njegusi on the slopes of Lovcen Mountain. Chance to taste the local cheese and smoked ham. Enjoying the breathtaking view to the Boka fiord while driving to Kotor. Short walk inside the fortified medieval town. Free time for individual exploring. Back in the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Skadar Lake NP – Bar
Relaxing day in the in the hostile wildness of the Skadar Lake Nature Park. Some can go on an exciting boat ride, some can taste the local fish specialties… Transfer to the port of Bar and departure by ferry to Italy…

Vrellis Museum:This museum of wax figures is built in a renovated traditional 18-century house near Ioannina. It presents the events and personalities from the era of Ali Pasha’s rule and the heroic struggle of the Greeks for independence.
Meteora (UNESCO):After Mt. Athos, the second biggest monastery community in the Orthodox world.
Heraclea Lyncestis: archaeological site near Bitola, with preserved Roman Theater and early Basilicas with remarkable floor mosaics.
Ohrid (UNESCO):Some of the most valuable Byzantine frescoes and icons decorate the walls of Ohrid churches and galleries.
Berat (UNESCO):“the town with thousand windows” is looking the same as it was 200 years ago.
Kruje:Impressive fortress and picturesque bazaar with traditional old crafts.
Cetinje:The King had 9 beautiful daughters and 6 of them married European kings. One daughter was an Italian Queen, one a Rumanian Queen, one a Russian Queen-to-be, one a Bulgarian Queen, one a Serbian Queen, one married in Bavaria. Cetinje Monastery includes a hand of Saint John Baptist (one of the most important issues in the Christian world).
Kotor (UNESCO):Medieval City, mix of Christian Orthodox and Catholic cultures. The Europe’s first Maritime University.
Skadar Lake NP:Lake of Scadar is the largest lake at Balkan Peninsula and one of the last fresh water spaces. Park was founded in 1968 for keeping and protection of wonderful surrounding of the Lake and its shore. It is the largest national park in Montenegro and the most famous for its diversity of flora and fauna.
